A collection of original, vintage postage stamps arranged on canvas with a three-dimensional element. The work is mounted behind conservation glass within a dark brown, wooden frame.

Collected from a variety of sources, these world stamps have been grouped into a red, pink and purple colour palette forming the shape of a globe. With their own individual histories, they span a time period of approximately one hundred years. The piece is named Sunset after the vivid colours that appear during the Australian summer when the sun goes down for the day.

Evoking a strong sense of nostalgia, this work references a bygone era when mail was the primary form of correspondence.
