A collection of original, vintage U.S. postcard booklet covers arranged on painted canvas with a cut three-dimensional element. The items are mounted behind glass within a white, wooden frame and are part of a small series.

The geometric arrangement and raised, angular shapes create contrast with the organic form of the waterfalls. Sourced from flea markets in New York and Tel Aviv, these postcard booklet covers depict images of Niagara Falls at night illuminated by multi-coloured lights projected onto the falling water.

Originally black and white photos taken in the 1930’s, the images were then hand-tinted before being printed for the tourism market.
